Located in the heart of the Latin Quarter in Galway, The Kasbah is the perfect spot to relax over seasonal and fresh tapas-style food to share with friends with a choice of fine international wines, craft beers, gins, whiskeys, and cocktails . We have an incredible passion for food and we only serve the finest selection of small plates created with products sourced from local producers. Our chefs craft exceptionally inventive bites inspired by traditional Irish food, but with our own unique twist. We also have a wonderful assortment of tapas that are both vegan and gluten-free.
At McDonagh’s, we have been tantalising the tastebuds of both visitors and locals alike for four generations. Established in 1902, we bring over 115 years of knowledge to serving the best seafood and have earned a reputation as one of Ireland’s finest seafood houses.
In our Seafood Restaurant, you will find a wonderful variety of fish dishes on the menu, ranging from the native Clarenbridge oyster to salmon, mussels, scallops and hake. There’s also the Fish & Chips Bar, where our fish is cooked to order. Orders can be enjoyed on the premises or taken away and there is also outside seating during the summer months.
Dock 1 Seafood Bar and Restaurant
The Dock 1 menu offers both lunch and dinner, and features signature dishes from both the land and the sea, as well as daily fish specials prepared by the chef depending on the catch of the day. Our Seafood Bar Menu overflows with platters of the finest Irish oysters, lobster, crab and prawns, as well as more innovative dishes like Irish lobster rolls and smoked mackerel salad. Our Wine Menu offers whites and reds by the glass and bottle, or for that very special occasion sparkling wines and Champagne. On our Drinks Menu you’ll find one of the finest selections of Irish and imported craft beers and cider, both on tap and bottled, in Galway city. Our spirits list is right up to date with the newest, boutique whiskey, vodka and gin brands.
West @ The Twelve
West is a modern take on a classic – a contemporary riff on a San Fran-style club restaurant. Beautifully lit, flattering and gleaming, with a sweet champagne bar, cosy booths and smooth dark wood, West is a proper restaurant, a grown-up room and a reminder of why some things in life are too good to change.
Noted Pioneers of the Galway food movement and offering Ireland’s best wine experience, our belief is that by working with great local food producers, we can both impact on our region for the better and, at the same time, give you the opportunity to taste the true West of Ireland.

Quay Street Kitchen is a true Galway gem, nestled in amongst the hustle and bustle of the city’s thriving Latin Quarter and is popular with visitors and locals alike. The boutique eatery offers a diverse menu and is lauded for it’s selection of vegetarian and vegan foods , as well as some of the best seafood in the city.
Tigh Neachtain‘s Pub prides itself on showcasing the best live music in Galway, so why not pop in for your weekly dose of soul cleansing, enjoying their divine seafood selection accompanied by a pint of Guinness and glass of prosecco from the corner vantage point. Neacthain’s offers some of the best home grown talent there is and is ”Galway’s Favourite For Over 120 Year’s” – and they intend to keep it that way!
Serving delicious food overlooking Lough Atalia, the menu at Marina’s Grill showcases the Wild Atlantic Way’s finest seafood. Awarded an AA Rosette in 2017, Marina’s is led by Executive Chef Adrian Bane and focuses on local, seasonal ingredients, accompanied by a sophisticated wine selection.
Sonny Molly’s Irish Whiskey Bar
In the centre of Galway city you will find one of Ireland’s most popular whiskey bars. Sonny Molloy’s is your friendly local, with an extensive whiskey and drinks selection. It’s also one of the only bars in the word to display the complete Midleton Very Rare Whiskey collection, and is part of the famous Galway Whiskey Trail. Our culinary team at Restaurant gigi’s presents a wealth of sumptuous dishes inspired by local ingredients and seasonal produce. Restaurant gigi’s has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for culinary excellence for the past 5 years which is a testament to the quality of restaurant and passion of Head Chef Jason O’Neill Sous Chef Andy Lewis and their team. Restaurant gigi’s was also awarded Best Hotel Restaurant in Galway at the Irish Restaurant Awards. The 80-seater restaurant echoes the sea theme which inspired Design Director Philip Treacy including large curved banquettes in purple velvet designed to cocoon and envelop, and jewel coloured Andrew Martin chairs.

Loam is a Michelin-starred restaurant and wine bar located just off Eyre Square in Galway city. It first opened its doors in November 2014 and is owned and run by Head Chef Enda McEvoy – voted ‘Best Chef in Ireland‘ at the 2016 Irish Restaurant Awards.
